Great staff at a beautiful location.

We did not have breakfast there. We ate dinner at Matthew's once which was good, but expensive. Good location, close enough to go into town, and also far enough away to feel more private. Great beach and facilities. Bellman at front door was awesome.

We tried to visit the shops near the lobby twice. Both times were during the opening hours posted on the doors, but the shops were not open either of the times we visited. The hot tub was out of order (or closed?) the time I tried to use it.

We loved their beachfront and the waves !! We were in Ambassador building which was quieter but across from main bldg, pool, ocean.

Excellent facilities and amenities. Great location, with a friendly staff and right on the beach.

There was nothing I didn’t like but the guests at the property are mostly folks with timeshares and staying for longer periods of time. As such some of the amenities, specifically WiFi access in the room was quite pricey if you were staying for less than 3 nights. Again, it’s nothing against the resort but something to keep in mind for shorter stays

Casa Del Mar was very clean, and right on the beach. Excellent place to stay!

Location of the resort was right on the beach. Food was available on site, all day long. The staff were kind and friendly.

There was only one elevator working for all 5 floors, which was very inconvenient.

The location on the beautiful beach is amazing. It was always clean and the staff was so friendly. We loved the happy hours and the great food at Matthew’s.

Awesome

We were able to check in way before we were suppose to. Our room was amazing overlooking the pool and ocean. The happy hour was 3 times a day and we took total advantage. Food was amazing at Micheals!! The only down fault of the hotel is the ocean is super ruff compared to palm and eagle beach. If you are going with another couple the layout of the rooms are fantastic. We will be back

It was good but not worth the money, very misleading.

Love the beach and size of room.

We booked a balcony view and when we arrived we were put on the first floor with patio. I told them I booked a balcony and they said everything was booked up and could not change. We went to the room and noticed major construction on the outside of our patio and could not use the patio. There was workers there from 8:30 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and they were working on the patio and stored buckets there. I was never told that there was major construction going on and I could not use my outside. I asked for a discount on room and they said they could not provide it but only gave me a free lunch.

The beach has washed away in large part, so if you wanted a spot on the beach (or the pool), you have to get up at 7am everyday to save a spot. Other than that it was great.

Had a great time at both Casa del Mar and Aruba.We all enjoyed our stay and would come back again!!!

Great location on Eagle Beach and both the room and resort has everything one would need to spend a relaxing week in Aruba! It rained here almost everyday, but lasts for a couple of minutes and dries just as fast! Staff were friendly. Plan on attending Matthews for All You Can Eat Ribs on Tuesday night, an affordable entree.

A little over priced based on the facilities and amenities it offered. Ultimately, pricing is based on how busy the resort is (assuming you do not have a timeshare but are just renting for the week). If you come during peak period, be prepared to get up early or you won't get a chickee in a good spot! We found out by mistake that if you pay cash for meal at Matthew's and are staying at the property, they provide you a 10% discount.
